NinjaTech AI Launches Public Beta of Ninja AI: A Versatile AI Agent Service
Silicon Valley-based NinjaTech AI has recently launched the public beta of Ninja AI, an innovative web application designed to function as a researcher, software engineer, scheduler, and more. Users can explore this versatile tool at .
Ninja AI offers both a free tier and paid subscription options. Paid users gain access to advanced capabilities via application programming interfaces (APIs) linked to leading generative AI models, including OpenAI’s GPT-4o, Anthropic’s Claude 3, and Google Gemini.
Key Features of Ninja AI
Ninja AI is powered by NinjaLLM, built on the Llama3 70B base model. Users can easily compare results across multiple AI models in real-time, using GPT-4 to summarize similarities and highlight differences. It can also manage calendar events on the user's behalf, requiring Google account integration for Google Calendar, with Apple iCal support planned for the future.
Furthermore, Ninja AI autonomously sends email invitations from its own address, interacts with users via diverse voices, and even facilitates video chats using 3D characters powered by Unreal Engine. The tool excels in multitasking, operating in the background while users engage in other activities.
When tasks are completed, users receive notifications, and they can monitor ongoing workflows through a convenient sidebar. Unlike traditional chatbots, Ninja AI allows users to input multiple requests simultaneously, executing them in the specified order.
“The goal is to create an assistant that goes beyond simple question-and-answer interactions,” said Babak Pahlavan, NinjaTech AI’s founder and CEO. “In real-life scenarios, you need assistants to manage both software tasks and human interactions.”
Five Key Agents Currently Offered:
- Ninja Advisor
- Ninja Coder
- Basic Scheduler
- Real-time Web Search
- Limited Third-Party LLM Access
Enhanced Capabilities for Paid Users
Ninja AI provides a generous free option, allowing users to execute up to 20 tasks daily through the Advisor, Coder, Researcher, and third-party LLMs, alongside 5 tasks from the Scheduler. For users willing to subscribe at $10, $20, or $30 monthly, a wider range of tasks is available.
Expertise Behind NinjaTech AI
Babak Pahlavan, who spent over a decade at Google and served as Senior Director of Product Management, leads NinjaTech AI. His experience at Google helped him recognize the need for more sophisticated AI solutions. After joining SRI International as an entrepreneur-in-residence, he co-founded NinjaTech AI alongside Sam Naghshineh, former head of engineering for AI Systems at Meta, and Arash Sadrieh, a former senior applied scientist at AWS.
“We are leveraging our extensive experience from Google, AWS, and Meta to develop scalable AI solutions,” Pahlavan stated.
An Ambitious Goal: Integrating Multiple AI Models
Ninja AI aims to provide busy professionals—referred to as "prosumers"—with seamless access to multiple AI models for optimized performance. “The advisor agent has been trained on thousands of human conversations to ensure it’s articulate, professional, and suitable for workplace environments,” Pahlavan explained.
This innovative service enables users to harness the power of various AI models without the hassle of switching between them manually. “Our core competency lies in creating agents that can break down complex tasks and execute them effectively,” Pahlavan emphasized.
Powered by AWS Technology
NinjaTech AI utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS) custom machine learning chips, Trainium and Inferentia2, rather than relying on Nvidia GPUs. This choice allows them to build, train, and scale their AI agents efficiently while managing startup costs.
“All models are trained using AWS Trainium chips and served via AWS Inferentia2 with orchestrations powered by Amazon SageMaker,” Pahlavan noted.
Additionally, Rahul Kulkarni, Director of Product Management at AWS, highlighted the collaboration's benefits, explaining that the custom silicon is designed for optimal compatibility with AWS SageMaker.
While AWS also offers Nvidia GPUs for resource-intensive tasks, it promises a 40% cost advantage on comparable performance using its custom chips, making them an attractive option for AI developers.
With a talented team from Google, AWS, and Meta, NinjaTech AI is poised to redefine productivity by allowing users to delegate time-consuming tasks to AI agents, enabling greater focus on strategic activities.
