Kyndryl and Nvidia Partner to Accelerate Generative AI Adoption in Enterprises

Kyndryl, an IT infrastructure provider, has partnered with Nvidia to support business leaders in effectively implementing AI-driven projects. While C-suite executives are enthusiastic about generative AI, there remains uncertainty about harnessing its full potential. This collaboration equips organizations with the necessary tools to accelerate development and ensure practical application.

This marks Kyndryl’s first partnership with Nvidia, although the company is well-versed in integrating AI and cloud infrastructure. In February, Kyndryl announced another collaboration with Google Cloud, aligning its services with Google’s Cortex Framework and Gemini.

Businesses utilizing Nvidia’s accelerated computing and software platform can now access Kyndryl Bridge, which provides data-driven insights and expertise for managing IT projects, as well as Kyndryl Consult, a service focused on testing and deploying generative AI applications. Kyndryl customers can also leverage Nvidia’s NeMo platform for large language models and the NIM inference microservice, crucial for enterprises aiming to implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for data optimization.

“As generative AI enhances productivity and insights across industries, many organizations need expert guidance to quickly incorporate AI applications into their operations,” stated John Fanelli, Nvidia’s vice president of enterprise software. “Kyndryl’s solutions and expertise in integrating Nvidia’s full-stack AI empower customers to swiftly establish and scale their AI strategies.”

Speed and expertise are vital for organizations looking to commercialize generative AI projects. While employees may be using AI in the workplace, leaders often find it challenging to leverage this technology for business growth. Giovanni Carraro, Kyndryl’s senior vice president of global strategic alliances, emphasized that the partnership with Nvidia offers “the know-how, expertise, and innovative services to build the AI framework that customers can depend on throughout their AI journey.”

In summary, Kyndryl provides Nvidia’s clients with the resources to test and deploy AI projects effectively, while Nvidia supplies Kyndryl’s clients with advanced AI hardware and software.

“By merging NVIDIA’s generative AI software with Kyndryl’s capabilities, we are uniquely positioned to tackle and solve the key challenges customers face in integrating AI across their hybrid IT environments,” remarked Hidayatullah Shaikh, Kyndryl’s vice president of software engineering for Kyndryl Bridge.
