Acer is enhancing its Swift laptop series with the introduction of four new models, each equipped with advanced AI capabilities. Key features across these models include Microsoft Copilot+, Acer User Sensing technology, Windows Studio Effects, PurifiedVoice 2.0, and PurifiedView. They also support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
Swift 14 AI (SF14-51/T)
The Swift 14 AI features a 14-inch OLED display available in 3K or 2K resolutions, powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 processors and Intel Arc Graphics. An optional 2K IPS touchscreen is also available. Its NPU delivers impressive AI performance, rated at 48 trillion operations per second (TOPS). With a robust 65Wh battery, it offers up to 29 hours of video playback and 23 hours of web browsing, making it ideal for professionals on the go.
Swift 16 AI
The Swift 16 AI boasts a larger 16-inch 3K OLED or 3K touchscreen display with edge-to-edge glass. This model is powered by either an Intel Core Ultra 9 or Ultra 7 CPU, also utilizing Intel Arc GPU for graphics. Its NPU offers the same 48 TOPS AI performance as the Swift 14 AI, but with a more powerful 75Wh battery, enhancing its performance and battery life.
Swift 14 AI (SF14-61/T)
For fans of AMD processors, the Swift 14 AI (SF14-61/T) is a great option, featuring the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 and AMD Radeon 880M GPU. It offers a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880x1800 (WQXGA), available in IPS and touch variants. The OLED model is DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified, achieving 500 nits brightness, while the others max out at 400 nits. With a 75Wh battery, this model supports up to 27 hours of video playback and 18.5 hours of web browsing.
Swift Go 14 AI
The Swift Go 14 AI runs on a Snapdragon X Plus chip, featuring eight cores that reach speeds of up to 3.2 GHz, while its Hexagon NPU achieves 45 TOPS. The Qualcomm Adreno GPU handles graphics. The 14.5-inch display is available in WQXGA or 1920x1200 (WUXGA) resolutions, with refresh rates of 120Hz. Sporting a 75Wh battery, it promises similar performance to the Swift 14 AI (SF14-61/T) with approximately 28 hours of video playback and 19.5 hours of browsing.
Availability
The Swift 14 AI (SF14-51/T) will launch in the US, EMEA, and Australia this September. The Swift 16 AI is set for release in October, except in Australia, where it will be available in Q1 2025. The Swift Go 14 AI and Swift 14 AI (SF14-61/T) will also release in the US and EMEA in September, but Australian customers will have to wait until Q4 2024 for their availability.
