"Adobe Unveils Exciting New AI Tools for Creating 3D Scenes, Animating Text, and Eliminating Distractions"

Adobe is unveiling experimental AI tools for animation, image generation, and video editing, slated for potential integration into its Creative Cloud suite. These tools aim to simplify the content creation process by automating tedious tasks, offering users greater control over their creative outputs beyond standard AI prompts.

The first tool, “Project Scenic,” enhances image generation by allowing users to build entire 3D scenes with Adobe’s Firefly model. This approach enables the addition, movement, and resizing of specific objects, which then serve as references for generating matching 2D images.

Next is “Project Motion,” a two-step tool designed for effortless animated graphics. The initial phase involves a straightforward animation builder for adding motion effects to text and basic images, requiring no prior animation experience. The second phase transforms the animated video using text descriptions and reference images, enhancing it with color, texture, and background sequences.

“Project Clean Machine” is an advanced editing tool that automatically removes distractions from images and videos, such as camera flashes or unintended elements. It functions like an automated content-aware fill, effectively correcting any visual issues caused by what’s being removed. For instance, if fireworks cause overexposure, Clean Machine ensures consistent color and lighting throughout the video after the flash is eliminated.

These innovative tools were showcased as “Sneaks” at Adobe’s MAX conference, representing in-development projects intended to highlight new technology and assess public interest. While there’s no guarantee of a full release, many successful features, such as Photoshop’s Distraction Removal and After Effects' Content-Aware Fill, originated from similar projects.
