On July 1, officials in Yi Zhuang announced ambitious plans for a comprehensive Artificial Intelligence City. This pioneering initiative will introduce ten key AI application scenarios, reinforcing the city's commitment to technological advancement. The Beijing Institute of AI Application Scenarios and the Beijing AI Original Industry Acceleration Platform have recently been inaugurated, complementing the launch of the Yizhi Government Affairs Large Model Service Platform. Notable advancements in AI for healthcare, new retail, and energy efficiency were also revealed.

The strategy aims to seamlessly integrate AI technology into the development of Yi Zhuang New Town and its industrial upgrades. By leveraging practical applications, the initiative seeks to drive innovation and establish a city-wide experimental platform for AI implementation. A strong focus will be placed on ensuring safety while exploring how AI can enhance productivity and everyday life. Initial trials will target specialized industries, hazardous tasks, and repetitive jobs, promoting widespread adoption of AI throughout Yi Zhuang.

A representative from the Beijing Economic Development Zone Committee extended a global invitation for collaboration, encouraging innovators in AI, foundational models, industry applications, and data governance to help build these transformative application scenarios in Yi Zhuang. The objective is to establish ten exemplary models that are innovative and replicable, paving the way for a truly AI-driven city.
