Boost Your Advertising with Google’s New Gemini-Powered Conversational Tool for Quick Search Campaign Creation

Google has announced that its multimodal large language models, known as Gemini, now enhance the conversational interface within the Google Ads platform. This exciting update will enable advertisers to efficiently create and scale Search ad campaigns.

The innovative conversational interface facilitates the development of Search campaigns through an intuitive chat-based tool. By utilizing your website URL, this tool generates relevant ad content, including targeted assets and keywords. It also provides personalized image suggestions using generative AI alongside visuals from your website. Google ensures that all images produced through generative AI will be clearly labeled as such.

Before launching campaigns, advertisers have the opportunity to review and approve the generated images and text.

Currently, beta access to this conversational feature in Google Ads is available to all English-speaking advertisers in the U.S. and U.K. In the coming weeks, this access will expand globally to all English-speaking advertisers, with plans to introduce additional language support in the months ahead.

"Over the last few months, we’ve been testing the conversational experience with a select group of advertisers," wrote Shashi Thakur, Google’s VP and GM of Google Ads, in a blog post. "We’ve found that it aids them in crafting higher-quality Search campaigns with greater ease."

This new tool complements Google’s existing suite of AI-powered resources for advertisers. Recently, the company unveiled "Product Studio," a collection of generative AI tools for U.S. advertisers that allows merchants to create new product images for free simply by describing their vision through text prompts. These tools also enable advertisers to enhance lower-quality images and eliminate distracting backgrounds.

Today’s announcement reflects Google’s commitment to seamlessly integrate AI across its products. In line with this, Google also revealed the addition of three new AI-driven features to Chrome, including a tab organization tool, a theme customization option, and assistance for writing tasks like online reviews and forum contributions.
