China Unveils First Humanoid Robot Model to Accelerate Robotics Industry Growth

China has officially introduced its first humanoid robot task generation model, known as the R-DDPRM model, developed by the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in Chengdu's Innovation and Technology Ecological Island. This innovative model enables humanoid robots to generalize across multiple constraints, effectively functioning as a sophisticated "brain" capable of managing complex tasks seamlessly.

The R-DDPRM model offers numerous advantages, including increased stability, higher task execution success rates, faster decision-making, reduced reliance on computing power, and enhanced management of complex scenarios. These features are expected to significantly improve the efficiency and performance of humanoid robots while lowering computational and energy costs.

As large AI models like ChatGPT continue to evolve, humanoid robots are advancing in environmental awareness, intelligent interaction, and action control, making strides toward greater generalization and enhanced intelligence. According to industry analysts, the rapid developments in AI are set to expedite growth in the robotics sector, with humanoid robots on the brink of becoming commercially viable.

Prominent companies in the robotics field are making notable contributions. Fengli Intelligent has completed the development of standard harmonic reducer models and is now entering small-scale production while collaborating with clients in humanoid, collaborative, and industrial robotics. Likewise, Lingyi Intelligence, through its subsidiary Shenzhen Lingpeng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., is focused on the research and development of intelligent control systems and software for industrial automation and robotics, having recently launched a high-performance RV reducer designed specifically for humanoid robots.
