    Anthropic Enhances Claude AI Accessibility with New Mobile App

    Anthropic is expanding access to its Claude AI by launching a free mobile app for iOS users. This app, like the mobile web version, seamlessly syncs conversations across devices, allowing users to transition between a computer and the app without losing chat history.

    The app also allows users to upload files and images directly from their iPhone’s gallery or capture photos in real-time for instant processing or analysis by Claude. Importantly, the app is available to all users, regardless of their subscription plan.

    For those considering a paid option, Anthropic now offers a new Team plan alongside the existing Pro tier. The Team plan provides enhanced usage capabilities, accommodating more conversations and enabling the processing of longer documents such as research papers and contracts, thanks to a substantial 200,000 context window. Subscribers to the Team plan will also gain access to the Claude 3 model family, which includes Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku, at a cost of $30 per user per month, with a minimum requirement of five users per team.

    In a March blog post, Anthropic highlighted Claude 3's performance, claiming it outshone competitors like ChatGPT and Google's Gemini in several industry benchmarks. Among its strengths are advanced graduate-level reasoning, multilingual math, and coding skills. The standout Opus model demonstrated near-human capabilities with rapid response times, making it suitable for complex and time-sensitive tasks.
