Empowering Businesses with AIGC: How H3C and Xiaomi AI PCs Enhance Efficiency and Reduce Costs Across Various Industries

Sora Launch Enhances AIGC Market Prospects

In February, the launch of Sora, an innovative video generative model, ignited excitement within the AI-Generated Content (AIGC) market. The rise of generative AI technologies—spanning text, video, image creation, and digital personas—has significantly accelerated the push for new productivity solutions. This evolution presents both challenges and opportunities for endpoint device manufacturers and cloud service providers, with AI PCs (AIPC) emerging as pivotal players in this landscape.

According to Canalys, global AI PC shipments are projected to reach 205 million units by 2028, potentially capturing nearly 70% of the market share. This optimistic forecast has spurred hardware manufacturers to expedite their strategies. Intel, a leader in the AI PC sector, recently unveiled its commercial AIPC products powered by the Intel Core Ultra processor, marking a significant technological advancement in commercial computing.

During the product launch, Intel partnered with over 35 independent software vendors (ISVs) and 10 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to demonstrate the diverse applications of AIPC products. The event showcased the robust capabilities of Intel's Core Ultra processor, which features a tri-engine AI architecture—comprised of CPU, GPU, and NPU—designed to enhance generative AI performance while ensuring economic efficiency, physical integrity, and data confidentiality.

Wang Zicong, Vice President of Intel’s Marketing Group and General Manager of Intel China, remarked, "New productivity forms are accelerating industrial transformation. Providing advanced digital and intelligent tools is essential for leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity. The Intel Core Ultra processor marks the official entry of PCs into the AI era." He emphasized exploring local AIPC applications across six AI scenarios and industries, signaling a new chapter that benefits various sectors.

Generative AI is extensively transforming applications, with a focus on six key scenarios: AI Chatbots, AI Assistants, AI Office Tools, AI Local Knowledge Bases, AI Image and Video Processing, and AI PC Management. This comprehensive strategy aims to harness AI's full potential for improved smart experiences.

Intel is actively supporting local ISVs in leveraging AI PC capabilities, delivering full-stack AI solutions that optimize costs and facilitate digital transformation across industries. At the launch event, several OEM manufacturers, including H3C and Xiaomi, showcased AI PC products powered by the Intel Core Ultra processor, addressing diverse digital transformation needs.

Highlighted was the H3C Book Ultra 14T, featuring the Intel Core Ultra processor and customizable with the Ultra 7-165H variant. This model supports Intel Evo technology and offers up to 32GB of advanced LPDDR5X memory, integrated Intel ARC graphics, and a 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for content creation.

H3C has quickly captured a 2.6% market share in the commercial PC sector, ranking sixth in China's commercial terminal market since launching its products in late 2020. Xiaomi also introduced the Redmi Book Pro 16 2024, equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H chip, featuring a 3D mixed-architecture CPU with 16 cores and 22 threads, reaching speeds up to 4.8GHz. The integrated graphics core provides impressive AI computing capabilities.

A standout feature of the Xiaomi device is its exclusive smart interconnect technology, which enables seamless cross-device collaboration, including camera sharing, clipboard sharing, and screen mirroring, all designed to enhance user productivity.

As we enter this exciting and transformative era of AI PCs, the potential to reshape our work and daily lives is vast.
