NVIDIA has announced that generative AI is driving transformative changes across various industries globally. However, the sector is currently grappling with a talent shortage and a critical need to continually enhance employee skills to fully leverage AI technologies. In response, NVIDIA is launching a professional certification program designed to help software engineers, data engineers, cloud solution architects, and AI DevOps engineers validate and showcase their expertise in generative AI.
NVIDIA’s founder, Jensen Huang, emphasized the eagerness of governments, industries, and organizations worldwide to harness AI's capabilities for accelerating growth. The certification will be available following the GPU Technology Conference (GTC), where attendees can engage in recommended training sessions to prepare for the exam.
GTC 2024 will take place from March 18 to 21 in San Jose, California. This event marks NVIDIA's first in-person gathering in five years, expecting over 300,000 participants both in-person and virtually. The conference will feature 900 sessions and over 300 exhibitors demonstrating the implementation of NVIDIA platforms for significant industry advancements.
The certification, issued by NVIDIA, will concentrate on two core areas: generative AI and large language models. The exam will include 50 questions, last for one hour, and will be offered online for convenient remote testing.
