While companies attempt to use AI tools cautiously to protect sensitive data, this often limits AI's capability to drive meaningful business growth. Zitzmann likened this to hiring an intern but withholding access to critical company information, making their role ineffective.
Jamix's AI assistant integrates with commonly used workplace applications like Google Workspace and Slack, delivering information to users on demand. The platform performs three primary functions for enterprises:

Comprehensive Search Across Apps: The Jamix search bar simplifies information retrieval by offering results from all connected applications—be it email, Slack, or Google Docs—enabling users to access what they need quickly. "For 20 years, enterprise search has promised a Google-like experience for corporate data," Zitzmann noted.
2. Engage with Apps and Data: Beyond the typical generative AI use case of interacting with a single PDF, Jamix allows users to query a range of documents available within the organization. For example, users can ask, “How many candidates do we have in the engineering pipeline?” and receive immediate answers.
3. Action Initiation: In a bold move, Jamix enables its AI assistant to perform actions on behalf of users within workplace apps, such as filing bug reports or evaluating resumes based on job criteria. This feature enhances efficiency by automating routine tasks.

Jamix prioritizes user privacy by encrypting all customer data and establishing agreements with AI model providers, including OpenAI, to prohibit data training on Jamix user information.
“Our agreements ensure that customer data remains private,” Zitzmann confirmed.
For clients seeking additional privacy, Jamix also collaborates with open-source AI models, enabling enterprises to deploy the AI assistant on private clouds or on-premises.
