Maingear Launches Pro AI PC Workstations Designed for LLM Training

Maingear today announced its partnership with Phison to launch a new series of workstations, the Pro AI line, featuring Phison’s innovative aiDAPTIV+ technology. These workstations aim to provide cost-effective solutions for small and medium-sized businesses looking to develop and train large language models rapidly. Customers can customize the workstations according to their specific needs, with three preconfigured models available: the Shodan 64 (MSRP $28,000), Shodan 96 ($37,000), and Shodan 192 ($60,000).

All three preconfigured models are equipped with multiple Nvidia GPUs and Intel Xeon CPUs, making them ideal for office environments due to their noise-dampening features and compact design, similar to a standard desktop. They also include caching SSDs to optimize resources for AI development and enable AI training without relying on the cloud, enhancing data security for users.
