Meta is setting ambitious goals for integrating AI to empower creators, showcasing two innovative demos at its Connect event.
One exciting feature involves creating AI personas that emulate real influencers. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg demonstrated a creator-based AI that not only resembled the original creator but also mimicked their speech patterns and responses. It was a fascinating display of technology.
Another groundbreaking tool in development translates Reels into other languages, preserving the creator's unique voice and synchronizing mouth movements with the new audio. During the presentation, Zuckerberg shared videos of Spanish creators’ Reels dubbed into English. Although the demo was pre-recorded, its promise to enhance video reach is noteworthy, especially as Meta seeks to compete with platforms like TikTok and YouTube, which are also exploring auto-dubbing features.
Additionally, Meta unveiled several other AI-driven features, including an AI assistant capable of speaking in celebrity voices, further expanding the possibilities for creators.
