"NVIDIA RTX GPUs Accelerate Adobe's AI Capabilities for Enhanced Performance"

NVIDIA has launched new features for its RTX GPUs that enhance AI capabilities in Premiere Pro and streamline workflows in Adobe's 3D applications, including Dimension and Substance Alchemist.

Adobe recently introduced a feature called Auto Reframe in Premiere, designed to analyze standard 16:9 videos and automatically convert them to vertical formats for smartphones. This traditionally time-consuming process can now be completed up to 400% faster on NVIDIA RTX GPUs compared to using just the CPU.

Additionally, Adobe Dimension users will benefit from accelerated rendering of 3D environments with dynamic lighting, reflections, and soft shadows, thanks to RTX technology. "We're adding interactive ray tracing to enable artists to create stunning photorealistic 3D scenes," stated Ross McKegney, Adobe's Director of Engineering for 3D and AR.

The enhancements also extend to Adobe Substance 3D Sampler, allowing artists to generate realistic textures for 3D objects more efficiently. NVIDIA highlights that tasks which once required hours of meticulous editing can now be achieved by AI in mere seconds.

To top it off, NVIDIA has released its latest Studio Driver, which boosts performance in compatible Creative Cloud applications, including Adobe Premiere and After Effects, as well as popular software like Autodesk Arnold, Cinebench, and Redcine-X Pro. These updates and features for Adobe applications are now available for users.
