#### Google Enhances Gemini Model at I/O 2024
Google made waves at I/O 2024 with significant updates to its Gemini model, showcasing new iterations from small to large, including the flagship Gemini 1.5 Pro. Initially available only to a select group of developers, this updated model is now accessible to all developers globally through the Gemini Advanced platform. CEO Sundar Pichai noted improvements in translation, coding, and reasoning capabilities based on user feedback, with the multimodal model now capable of interpreting images and text across 35 languages.
Significantly, the Gemini 1.5 Pro model boasts a context window of up to 1 million tokens, enabling it to process the equivalent of around 1,500 pages of text. Google further announced plans to increase this capacity to 2 million tokens, enhancing its capabilities to manage complex input scenarios.

With a computing power of 647 petaflops, Isambard-AI can execute operations at unprecedented speeds. #### California Trials Generative AI for Traffic and Healthcare Solutions

Announced recently, the state will utilize a symbolic budget of $1 for a six-month trial where participating firms will test their generative AI solutions in controlled environments using AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
