Opera GX Gaming Browser Unveils ChatGPT-Powered AI Feature for Enhanced User Experience

Launched in May with the powerful support of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, the AI browser Aria aims to make web searching, questioning, and coding easier for users. Today, Opera announced the introduction of Aria to Opera GX, a gaming-focused version of their flagship browser.

With this latest feature, Opera GX users can interact directly with an AI to effortlessly find the latest gaming news and tips. For instance, gamers can ask Aria for character ideas for Baldur’s Gate or inquire about the release date of the highly anticipated game Starfield.

Importantly, Aria is connected to the internet, providing users with real-time updates and information. Furthermore, Aria in Opera GX is integrated with the AI Prompts feature launched by Opera in March. This tool enables users to generate AI prompts, summarize articles, write social media posts, and more.

Opera GX is also rolling out a new command line that allows users to access a sidebar for instant interactions with Aria, enabling them to return quickly to browsing. The keyboard shortcut for Windows is Ctrl + /, while Mac users will use Cmd + /.

Currently, Aria is in beta and available exclusively to Opera GX users who activate the Early Bird feature through their settings. This feature allows users to access the latest builds before they are made public. To utilize Aria, users must ensure that both the “Aria Extension” and “Aria Command Line” are enabled.

Aria is accessible in over 180 countries and boasts more than one million beta users.
