Qualcomm recently revealed an innovative array of AI, 5G, and Wi-Fi technologies at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, emphasizing a new era of intelligent computing that aims to reshape industries, devices, and consumer experiences.
On-Device AI Revolution
The launch is driven by the recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon X Elite, with devices from Samsung Galaxy, Xiaomi, OPPO, and others debuting soon. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon highlighted the transformative power of hybrid generative AI—combining on-device processing with cloud capabilities for enhanced personalization, privacy, and efficiency.

1. Qualcomm AI Hub
This hub boasts over 75 pre-optimized AI models, enabling developers to easily integrate AI capabilities into their applications. This streamlines deployment on devices powered by Snapdragon platforms, leading to quicker product launches and enhanced user experiences.
Ignacio Contreras, Senior Director at Qualcomm, explained that their goal is to empower diverse devices—such as PCs, cars, and industrial IoT—with advanced connectivity and AI, enhancing productivity and user experience.
