Rodriguez-Hervas is among several executives who have recently left Stellantis. A spokesperson confirmed her departure, noting her intention to pursue new opportunities. According to her LinkedIn profile, she joined Stellantis in January 2022, following her tenure at Nvidia, a leading computer chip manufacturer. In a video released by Stellantis last year, she characterized the company as "a perfect blend of tradition and innovation."
Prior to her time at Stellantis, Rodriguez-Hervas played a key role in developing Tesla's Autopilot driving assistance technology and conducted doctoral research with Mercedes-Benz’s safety research team, specializing in machine learning and radar systems. The spokesperson reaffirmed Stellantis's dedication to nurturing talent and succession planning to maintain continuity and effectiveness. “Our robust team is prepared to build on the remarkable achievements we've made to date,” they added.
Looking ahead, Stellantis plans to launch its next-generation technology platforms—STLA AutoDrive, STLA BrAIn, and STLA SmartCockpit—by the end of 2024. Recently, it was reported that Jim Morrison, the former head of Jeep North America, also departed the company after five consecutive years of declining sales for the Jeep brand. In November, Antonio Filosa was appointed as the new CEO of Jeep, succeeding Christian Meunier, who led the brand's global operations since 2019.
