TeleAI Unveils Comprehensive Review of Embodied Intelligence Powered by Large Models in the Physical World

In recent years, large models have sparked a revolution in the field of artificial intelligence, with a surge of text, image, and multimodal models fundamentally reshaping how we work and live. At an international semiconductor conference, NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang announced that the next wave of AI will be "embodied intelligence," referring to intelligent systems capable of understanding, reasoning, and interacting with the physical world. In response, major corporations both domestically and internationally have launched their own plans for the development of embodied robots.

Large models and embodied intelligence have emerged as the most prominent themes in today's AI landscape. Rapid advancements in optoelectronic sensing technology, robotics, and model techniques are poised to significantly enhance the intelligence of robots. This evolution will drive AI technologies into the physical realm, facilitating broader applications across various sectors. Against this backdrop, Professor Li Xuelong, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist at China Telecom, has spearheaded the establishment of the China Telecom Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (TeleAI), focusing on large models and embodied intelligence as key research areas.
