Flight delays have long been a significant pain point for travelers, but United Airlines has found that providing clear explanations for delays can help alleviate negative sentiments. As a result, their customer service team has begun utilizing generative AI to craft detailed explanations for delays. Since March, United Airlines has applied this AI tool across more than 6,000 flights, leading to a 4% increase in customer satisfaction.
