The X70 isn’t Qualcomm's first modem to utilize machine learning; the X65 benefited from this technology for enhanced antenna tuning based on hand grip adjustments. However, the X70 stands out with a dedicated 5G AI processor, a pioneering feature in cellular modems.

This specialized processor not only boosts average speeds but also enhances mmWave beam management, enabling a stronger connection in challenging spectrum conditions. It further optimizes network selection and antenna tuning, resulting in improved coverage and link strength.
