The Galaxy S24 series smartphones have introduced Galaxy AI, an integrated suite of GenAI features, including Circle to Search (CtS), aimed at helping users complete tasks efficiently. This feature is powered by Google’s Gemini Nano, the lightest version designed specifically for mobile devices, capable of providing GenAI functionalities even without an internet connection.

Recently, Chulmin Jo, Vice President of Samsung's System LSI division, announced that the company is working on incorporating the second-generation Gemini Nano into the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. A meeting with Google is scheduled for next week to discuss this development.

While Google has yet to officially release detailed information about the second-generation Gemini Nano, initial reports suggest it will significantly enhance GenAI performance. Compared to the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy S25 series is expected to offer more robust GenAI capabilities. As the launch date approaches, additional details will be revealed.
