LG has introduced exciting new additions to its Gram laptop series ahead of CES 2024. Among the new offerings are two LG Gram Pro models and refreshed versions of existing Gram laptops.
The LG Gram Pro laptops feature remarkable specifications, equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor and a GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. They also include Intel’s AI Boost technology, enabling them to process AI workloads even without a network connection. Additionally, LG has enhanced its proprietary Link app to automatically share files and photos across devices. Notably, the Gram Pro is the first model to incorporate a dual-fan cooling system, designed to manage the heat generated by demanding AI applications. Customers can choose between 16-inch and 17-inch models.
The LG Gram Pro 2-in-1 shares similar specifications with the standard Pro but offers a versatile convertible design with a 16-inch OLED touchscreen and a 360-degree adjustable hinge. This lightweight device weighs around three pounds and is recognized as the “lightest 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop,” according to Guinness World Records.
The standard LG Gram series is also being refreshed, with new iterations of the Gram 17, 16, 15, and 14 models. Each laptop features Intel Core Ultra processors and anti-glare IPS displays. The 17-inch and 16-inch models offer WQXGA resolution, while the smaller models come with FHD or WUXGA resolution displays. Designed for business and academic use, they include FHD webcams and various user-friendly software. They also maintain the Mirametrix privacy technology seen in previous generations.
All these new laptops will be available for viewing at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. While pricing and specific availability details have yet to be announced, LG plans to launch these models throughout 2024.
