Samsung Expands Galaxy AI Features to a Wider Range of Devices

Samsung is set to enhance its Galaxy AI features with the upcoming One UI 6.1 update, launching in late March. This update will roll out to a range of devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, as well as the Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, and Tab S9. Initially debuted in the Galaxy S24 series, these innovative AI features will soon be accessible to a broader audience of Samsung users. As the tech landscape increasingly embraces AI, Samsung's decision to expand its offerings aligns with industry trends.

With the One UI 6.1 update, users can look forward to Google's "Circle to Search" feature, allowing them to conduct searches across their devices through intuitive gestures such as circling, highlighting, scribbling, or tapping. Another exciting addition is the Live Translate feature, which will facilitate voice and text translations during phone calls. Additionally, an "Interpreter" feature will provide real-time text translations for ongoing conversations.

Users will also benefit from "Chat Assist," which enables personalized message tone adjustments and provides translation capabilities in 13 languages via the Samsung Keyboard. The new "Note Assist" feature will help users create summaries and translate notes with ease, while the "Browsing Assist" feature will deliver quick synopses of news articles.

In terms of photo editing, the update introduces the "Generative Edit" tool, allowing users to resize, reposition, and realign elements within their images. Furthermore, the "Edit Suggestion" feature will aid in enhancing photos swiftly, and the "Instant Slow-Mo" feature will generate extra frames for slow-motion videos, ensuring that the most memorable moments are beautifully captured.
