AIGC: Transforming Creativity and Interaction
Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) is a leading topic in technology today, continually influenced by advancements like ChatGPT. The ability of AI to comprehend and transform production processes is remarkable. Notable innovations such as Sora, which creates videos based on physical laws, and Suno, enabling users to easily compose music and lyrics, exemplify significant milestones in this technological movement, sparking excitement for future developments.
As this tech revolution progresses, its impact will be felt widely. A common narrative in technological advancements is the empowerment of creativity, and AIGC is a prime example. How are everyday individuals adapting to these changes? In what ways will AIGC redefine our work and personal lives? How can people capitalize on these emerging opportunities?
To investigate these issues, the Just So Soul Research Institute surveyed 3,457 participants on AIGC through the Soul App in May, with nearly 80% identifying as Gen Z. The results indicated that younger respondents, especially those aged 18-24, displayed the greatest awareness and familiarity with AIGC. While some remain unsure about AIGC's implications, over 10% of young individuals reported financial gains from utilizing this technology.
In a world where loneliness is increasingly common, the growth of human-AI interaction could provide a solution. The survey revealed that one-third of young participants expressed interest in forming friendships with AI. Additionally, a previous survey by the Institute indicated a 20% rise in young people's affection for AIGC within the past year. Notably, over 90% of young respondents have engaged with AIGC products, particularly those born after 2000, who demonstrated the highest levels of understanding.
In conclusion, AIGC is at the forefront of technological innovation, offering both opportunities and challenges as it reshapes creativity and human interaction in profound ways.
