Adobe is previewing experimental AI tools for animation, image generation, and video/photo enhancement that may soon be integrated into its Creative Cloud applications. These innovative tools aim to automate tedious tasks in content creation, offering creatives greater control over their results compared to traditional AI generators.
Project Scenic empowers users to generate intricate images using Adobe’s Firefly model. Instead of relying solely on text, it creates a complete 3D scene where users can add, reposition, and resize objects. The final output serves as a reference to produce a matching 2D image.
Project Motion features a two-step process for creating animated graphics in various styles. The initial stage functions as an animation builder, allowing users to incorporate motion effects into text and basic images without prior animation experience. The second stage transforms the animated video using text descriptions and reference images, enhancing it with color, texture, and background sequences.
Project Clean Machine is an editing tool designed to eliminate distractions from images and videos, such as camera flashes and unwelcome elements. This tool functions like an advanced content-aware fill, adeptly correcting any visual inconsistencies caused by the distractions being removed, ensuring a seamless final product.
These tools are being showcased at Adobe’s MAX conference as "Sneaks," representing in-development projects meant to demonstrate new technology and measure public interest. While not all Sneaks guarantee a full release, many features in popular applications like Photoshop and After Effects have roots in similar initiatives.
We look forward to further demonstrations of these exciting tools as they are revealed later today. While they are not yet available for public use, their release may be on the horizon.
