Cybever Launches Innovative AI-Powered Platform for Creating 3D Worlds

Cybever is set to launch the beta of its AI-powered 3D world creation platform at the end of the month, aimed at simplifying and democratizing 3D content development for creators and developers across various industries. Creative studios and asset marketplaces have already expressed significant interest in this innovative platform.

To engage with the community, Cybever invites creators from all sectors to join its Discord for live demos and early access to the beta.

“Our platform is poised to revolutionize 3D content creation, empowering artists to build a robust ecosystem through three core capabilities: retrieval, placement, and generation,” stated Cecilia Shen, CEO of Cybever. “By streamlining asset retrieval, precise placement within 3D environments, and enabling new content generation, we help creators realize their visions more efficiently. This beta launch is a pivotal step toward making advanced 3D content development accessible to everyone.”

Cybever’s platform seeks to transform the typically cumbersome prototyping and pre-production phases of game development by leveraging AI tools for increased efficiency and flexibility. This allows creators to iterate and experiment freely, ultimately expediting the development process and promoting innovation.

“Our R&D team continually evaluates various AI tools from both production and investment perspectives,” remarked Julien Proux, Chief Content Officer at Room 8 Group. “We’re particularly impressed with the potential of Cybever to streamline creative workflows, significantly reducing the manual workload for our artists and cutting costs for our clients. We look forward to enhancements in the platform’s flexibility and efficiency, which we believe will mark a pivotal evolution in 3D creation.”

The cloud-based Cybever platform enables users to work remotely and harnesses AI to generate layouts, maps, and terrains from sketches and text descriptions. It automatically places elements such as towns and forests while retrieving compatible 3D assets from marketplaces for integration into scenes.

Key beta features will encompass sketch-to-3D preview, advanced scene generation, diverse assets, weather effects, terrain editing, and improved user experience tools—all designed to grant 3D professionals enhanced control, creativity, simplicity, and efficiency.

“Our team comprises AI researchers, engineers, and traditional 3D artists who collaborate to enhance the creative process, ensuring our platform addresses the typical challenges associated with Generative AI,” said Jie Yang, CTO of Cybever.

With a commitment to ethical AI practices, Cybever partners with 3D asset marketplaces to guarantee licensed asset use during content creation. The platform verifies that creators and studios possess the necessary rights and proactively offers options through integrated marketplaces when licensing issues arise. Should artists' data be used in the future, Cybever will obtain explicit permission and ensure they receive a share of the revenue.

Since its alpha testing in July, the Cybever platform has gained interest from various creative studios and asset marketplaces, such as Technicolor Group and TurboSquid. This success has driven a 400% growth in Cybever's business within just a month.

Cybever envisions a future where creators, from professionals to enthusiasts, can easily access advanced tools for 3D content creation across gaming, TV, film, and user-generated content (UGC). By integrating AI capabilities and seamless asset management, Cybever seeks to empower creators at all levels.

Addressing skepticism regarding the viability of 3D game creation for developers and consumers, Yang stated, “We are adopting a creator-first approach, aiming to facilitate collaboration and streamline workflows during critical development phases.”

Yang further emphasized that Cybever simplifies 3D creation through automation, enabling faster prototyping and lowering technical barriers for consumers to create high-quality 3D worlds for personal projects.

Despite the increasing competition from emerging game AI startups, Yang noted that Cybever differentiates itself through its unique combination of asset retrieval, procedural placement, and generation capabilities. It integrates seamlessly with leading platforms like Unreal and Unity while ensuring the ethical use of licensed assets, offering a comprehensive 3D creation solution.

The founders’ shared passion for storytelling brought them together; Shen’s journey into 3D procedural generation began at Google X, where she worked on projects involving object detection and simulation. Yang, who served as her skip manager, later co-founded Cybever with Shen to pursue this vision.

With a dedicated team of over 25 professionals, Cybever is poised to reshape the landscape of 3D content creation.
