On July 7, Huawei will unveil its latest artificial intelligence product, Pangu Chat, at the HDC.Cloud 2023 Developer Conference. This multimodal model, featuring over a hundred billion parameters, aims to compete with ChatGPT in natural language understanding, dialogue generation, and image recognition.

Launched by Huawei Cloud in November 2020, the Pangu Chat project focuses on creating a robust AI model that can handle vast data sets, delivering intelligent solutions for government and enterprise clients. Named after the mythological figure Pangu, who is believed to have created the universe, the product reflects Huawei Cloud's ambition to lead the AI revolution.

Pangu Chat is tailored for the business-to-business and government sectors, including education, healthcare, and finance. As AI solutions like ChatGPT gain momentum in the tech industry, analysts point out that they may be more appealing to companies like Apple than traditional hardware innovations.

At the HDC.Cloud 2023 conference, Huawei will also introduce HarmonyOS 4.0, its latest distributed operating system. This system enhances cross-device collaboration, security, and ecosystem development. Additionally, the AITO M9, an automotive gadget powered by HarmonyOS 4.0, is set for release this fall.

Furthermore, Huawei has announced partnerships with various international automotive manufacturers to launch cutting-edge products in the smart vehicle sector. Collaborations with Chinese automakers like Geely and SAIC have positioned Huawei as a leading force in global automotive technology.

Huawei is also committed to expanding its 5G presence by introducing more products and solutions to enhance the global telecommunications landscape. The company has made significant progress with multiple 5G terminal devices and established networks across numerous countries.
