Introducing MOKI: Meitu's AI Tool for Automated Storyboarding and Smart Video Editing with Voiceovers and Music

On June 13, Meitu Inc. hosted its third annual Meitu Imaging Festival, themed "Let's Talk About AI Workflows." During the event, the company unveiled MOKI, an AI tool specifically designed for short film creation. Meitu's founder, Wu Xinhong, previously noted that the launch of Sora had a substantial psychological impact on the industry, reinforcing Meitu's commitment to developing native AI applications.

MOKI sets itself apart from traditional text-to-video solutions by providing enhanced control over content creation and costs. It supports a variety of video scenarios for AI short film production. After users input the script, visual style, and character details, MOKI utilizes AI to automatically generate storyboards and transform them into video content. The platform then seamlessly combines these elements with intelligent editing, AI-generated music, sound effects, and automatic subtitles to deliver a polished final product.

In addition to MOKI, Meitu introduced five other innovative products:

- Meitu Cloud Repair V2: An AI-powered bulk photo editing tool

- Opening Shot V2: A platform for creating AI-generated voiceover videos

- Meitu Design Studio V3: An AI design tool

- Zcool Design Services: A service platform for design solutions

- Qimi: An AI platform for creating and distributing game materials

Meitu’s application ecosystem comprises four main modules: AI Image, AI Video, AI Design, and AI Marketing. The ecosystem layer features Zcool and Meitu's AI assistant, RoboNeo, while the infrastructure layer is powered by MiracleVision, an advanced AI model. The latest version, V5, includes proprietary DiT technology architecture, focusing on images, videos, audio, and text, resulting in superior scalability and an expanded parameter capacity.
