Microsoft's SwiftKey Mobile Keyboard App Introduces Exciting New AI-Powered Features

In tandem with recent AI advancements in Windows 11 and Bing, Microsoft has unveiled exciting new AI-powered features for its SwiftKey mobile keyboard app available on iOS and Android. This innovative third-party app allows users to enhance their typing experience by replacing the default keyboard with one that adapts to their unique writing style, enabling faster and more efficient typing. The latest update introduces AI camera lenses, customizable AI stickers, an advanced AI editor, and the capability to generate AI images directly from the app.

The new AI camera lenses empower users to capture photos, videos, and GIFs with a variety of creative effects, thanks to Microsoft's partnership with Snap, the creator of Snapchat. With over 250 tools and filters at your disposal, you can elevate your self-expression like never before.

Additionally, the app now features AI stickers, generated by Bing’s Image Creator, allowing you to create personalized stickers from your own photos or selfies. These customizable stickers can be shared effortlessly with friends and family across popular messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Messenger.

Bing Image Creator is also seamlessly integrated into the app’s keyboard, enabling users to take a photo or upload an existing image to retrieve Visual Search results from Bing, all within the SwiftKey interface.

Moreover, the new AI-powered "Editor" function helps users refine their grammar, spelling, and punctuation. By simply highlighting any sentence, users can receive instant feedback and practical suggestions to enhance their writing.

Microsoft has dedicated considerable effort to elevate SwiftKey over the past few months, previously linking the app with Bing to offer features like Bing search, Bing Chat interactions, and AI-driven text tone customization.

These new features are being rolled out for SwiftKey on both iOS and Android.
