Miso Robotics, known for its innovative robot burger flipper used at White Castle and a tortilla chip maker currently being tested by Chipotle, is now venturing into the coffee industry. The company’s AI-powered CookRight Coffee system is designed to monitor temperature, volume, and time, combining these metrics with predictive analytics to brew the perfect cup of coffee.
Panera Bread will be the first to trial CookRight Coffee to assess its effectiveness before wider implementation. This advanced system eliminates the need for staff to manually check coffee urns, ensuring fresh coffee is brewed at optimal times. Additionally, it will enhance Panera's Unlimited Sip Club, a subscription service that allows customers unlimited access to coffee and tea for just $9 per month.
Miso CEO Mike Bell highlighted the system's potential, stating, "When we announced the CookRight platform in 2021, we recognized its applicability across various restaurant stations, with an immediate need identified at the coffee station."
