Quora’s AI Chatbot Poe: Exciting New Features Unveiled
Quora's AI chatbot, Poe, continues to evolve rapidly, with the company recently announcing a range of new features aimed at enhancing user experience. Among these updates are the introduction of a search function for custom bots and the launch of a new enterprise tier for premium plans.
In a recent email to customers, Poe revealed plans for an upcoming enterprise package tailored for employees. While specific details are limited, interested organizations can sign up via a waitlist. This new offering appears to be a group subscription model, designed to allow corporate users access to Poe's premium features. However, there is currently no information on personalized chatbots available for corporate clients.
Poe initially introduced subscription services in March and has been providing paid users with early access to advanced models, subsequently rolling them out to free-tier users.
Just last week, Poe expanded its chatbot capabilities to include Japanese language support. Additionally, the platform launched a search functionality, enabling users to find custom bots easily. In April, Poe introduced a feature that allows users to create their own custom bots using simple prompts, and now discovering these bots has become more intuitive. Last month, Poe also added a "temperature" control feature, allowing users to customize their bots for variability in responses.
The company recently announced a new bot search feature, enhancing access to its array of bots on iOS, web, and MacOS platforms. Users can now search for specific bots or explore new ones aligned with their interests, with plans for the feature to arrive on Android soon.
Earlier this month, Poe unveiled a threading option, enabling users to hold separate conversations with the same bot, offering greater contextual control. In addition, Poe has integrated bots powered by the Llama 2 model, developed by Meta.
Quora made the Poe app publicly available for iOS in February and launched the Android version in May. In July, they rolled out a native Mac app for seamless chatbot access.
By continuously updating features and enhancing user engagement, Poe is setting a new standard in the AI chatbot industry.
