Voiceitt, a leader in speech recognition technology, is integrating its innovative solutions into Webex Meetings. Building upon Webex's live translation capabilities, Voiceitt's AI effectively transcribes the speech of individuals with non-standard communication patterns during calls. By utilizing advanced machine learning, the system adapts to individual speech patterns, enhancing comprehension and facilitating better communication through predictive phrases and user-selected shortcuts.
While Voiceitt operates as a standalone app, this new partnership will introduce a chat bar in Webex Meetings that provides live transcriptions. "The integration with Webex is transformative, fostering independence for users with disabilities and promoting collaborative, inclusive work environments," said Sara Smolley, co-founder and vice president of strategic partnerships at Voiceitt. "True collaboration means everyone at the table has a voice."
This collaboration is part of a growing relationship between Voiceitt and Cisco, the parent company of Webex. Cisco Investments recently backed Voiceitt in its latest funding round, mirroring Amazon's prior investment and integration of Voiceitt technology with its Alexa smart home assistant.
Voiceitt is expected to be available for download from the Webex App Hub beginning in June, with plans for broader accessibility across the entire Webex platform by the end of the year.
