Recently, some users on social media claimed that WPS had modified their articles and fed them to AI systems. Others reported that their unpublished novel content was used by WPS to train Douyin's Doubao AI. On July 21, WPS officially responded, stating, "We conducted a thorough investigation and communicated with users promptly; these claims are entirely untrue." WPS clarified that their AI services are based on large language model technology and emphasized that user documents are not used for AI training purposes. Furthermore, WPS assured users that their documents will not be used by any third parties for AI training without explicit consent. Specifically addressing user concerns, WPS confirmed that there is currently no collaboration between WPS AI and Doubao, and therefore, no documents have been utilized for AI training in any capacity.
