Pony.ai Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Emile Weber in Luxembourg to Advance Autonomous Driving Technology
On October 24, 2023, Pony.ai announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emile Weber in Luxembourg, aimed at collaboratively advancing the research, development, and deployment of autonomous vehicles and technologies.
In conjunction with this partnership, Pony.ai has established a European Research and Development Center in Luxembourg, dedicated to innovation and development in the field of autonomous driving. This center will focus on creating customized solutions for the European market, promoting the adoption of autonomous technology, and fostering industrial collaboration throughout Luxembourg and Europe.
Pony.ai currently operates R&D facilities in China, the United States, and Europe. As Level 4 autonomous driving technology and commercial models such as Robotaxi and Robotruck mature, the company is accelerating its international expansion. In addition to Luxembourg, Pony.ai is actively advancing autonomous driving initiatives in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Furthermore, on October 17, Pony.ai formally submitted its listing application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), planning to go public on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "PONY."
