Baotou Goose Intelligent Technology, an emerging leader in artificial intelligence, has secured nearly $10 million in Series A funding to advance its enterprise-level AI agent, BetterYeah AI. Founded in Hangzhou two years ago by Zhang Yi, a member of the DingTalk founding team, the company has successfully completed two funding rounds, totaling 100 million. Drawing on his eight years of experience at Alibaba, where he contributed to both the Wireless Technology Committee and the ToB Product Committee, Zhang is well-positioned to navigate the AI landscape.
Zhang's motivation for entering the AI agent space stems from his insights into the technological shifts experienced during the transition from PC to mobile. He shares, "Our extensive interactions with enterprise clients have revealed their specific needs." In mid-2022, CEOs from major companies consulted with Zhang on how new technologies could enhance decision-making and provide a competitive edge. He emphasizes, "Beginning in 2023, we've seen a growing number of companies partnering with us—these are genuine and urgent needs," underscoring the importance of AI agents in addressing these challenges.
BetterYeah AI primarily caters to top-tier companies and has made significant strides over the past year. One company has equipped 2,000 employees with BetterYeah AI assistants, drastically improving operational efficiency. Another leading firm in a niche market has integrated BetterYeah's "AI Customer Service" across all WeChat service groups, achieving a 150% increase in issue resolution rates. Additionally, a unicorn enterprise has deployed BetterYeah's solutions to improve customer acquisition and sales team management.
Focusing on sales, customer service, and marketing, Zhang explains, "Our mission is to help companies boost revenue and efficiency while transforming their technical teams with AI." He believes the key to creating value lies in delivering precise and high-quality solutions integrated with company data and workflows. BetterYeah AI offers a multimodal model-based workflow, comprehensive datasets, tools, and chat functionalities designed for seamless integration across platforms. The customizable task flows are tailored for complex scenarios, while scalable tools allow for rapid deployment in diverse business contexts.
Zhang acknowledges the current challenges in creating fully autonomous agents but highlights BetterYeah AI's strengths, including a robust suite of RPA and super automation tools, along with a low-code Web Builder platform. "To make AI implementation cost-effective, we provide a one-stop AI development platform that enables quick and affordable deployments, featuring numerous ready-to-use Agents while optimizing costs effectively."
AI agents serve as intelligent digital assistants that autonomously plan, execute, and provide feedback on tasks, communicate naturally, and continuously learn. Positioned at the forefront of the burgeoning AI market, BetterYeah AI is one of the first companies in China dedicated to ToB agents, gaining recognition and establishing a robust customer base.
