YouTube is set to enhance its Creator Music feature, which was first introduced last year, now integrating new AI tools along with an AI-dubbing capability. Creators can currently utilize Creator Music to search for their preferred songs, artists, or music genres to enhance their videos. Soon, they will be able to harness AI technology to simplify the music discovery process.
Starting early next year, a new feature will allow creators to act like a music concierge; they can simply type in a description of their video to find suitable songs. For instance, by entering details about the desired length or type of song, the Creator Music tool will provide tailored track suggestions that fit their budget.
Initially, the Creator Music dashboard was built to let creators search for specific tracks or browse through collections, genres, or moods, along with viewing licensing fees. Additionally, creators can filter their music searches based on their project’s budget. They can then choose to purchase a license after reviewing the terms or enter into a revenue-sharing agreement.
YouTube will also introduce an AI-dubbing feature called Aloud, which will be part of YouTube Studio. This tool allows creators to effortlessly generate an AI dub in another language with just one click, enabling them to review the dub before adding it to their video. Currently, this feature is being tested with select creators and is expected to become widely available next year. YouTube previously mentioned at VidCon plans to integrate Aloud with its platform.
This update was revealed during YouTube’s live event “Made on YouTube,” where several other AI enhancements were also announced, including a generative AI feature for Shorts and various new creator tools.
