ZipRecruiter Launches Innovative Tool for Quick Matching and Scheduling Intro Calls with Top Candidates

ZipRecruiter is introducing an innovative tool called ZipIntro, designed to streamline the hiring process by enabling employers to schedule introductory calls with potential candidates at specific times. This new feature leverages artificial intelligence to suggest suitable candidates, ensuring a more efficient recruitment experience.

Employers can easily enter details about the job role and choose a date and time for the introductory calls. ZipIntro then utilizes AI algorithms to match them with ideal candidates, sending out invitations for the scheduled calls. The tool considers crucial factors such as candidates’ employment history, education, skills, certifications, interests, and the types of jobs they seek.

With ZipIntro, employers can review candidates' responses, conduct further screenings, and arrange consecutive calls. The platform also facilitates one-on-one video conversations, enhancing engagement between employers and candidates.

These introductory sessions typically last from 30 minutes to one hour, with each individual call being around five minutes. Although primarily used for initial screenings, organizations may also leverage this tool for high-volume hiring, which often involves fewer interview rounds.

ZipRecruiter highlighted that employers can expect their first RSVP from candidates within just 20 minutes of posting a job requirement. “With ZipIntro, recruiters and hiring managers can forge critical connections quickly to gauge each candidate's true potential,” stated Megan Allen, SVP of Product at ZipRecruiter. “For job seekers, we’re thrilled to offer a faster opportunity to connect with employers, allowing them to showcase their personalities, soft skills, and passion.”

ZipRecruiter is not alone in incorporating AI into hiring. Competitors like Indeed are using AI to assist users in articulating their work experiences, while Microsoft-owned LinkedIn has introduced an AI tool aimed at enhancing job description writing.
