Apple’s upcoming “Let Loose” iPad event is generating significant buzz as it approaches. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the highly anticipated OLED iPad Pro may debut with the next-generation M4 chip, rather than the expected M3. In his Power On newsletter, Gurman noted that there's a strong likelihood of this development, suggesting it could mark Apple’s official foray into AI.
Gurman asserts that Apple is likely to position the iPad as its first truly AI-driven device, setting a precedent for future products to be marketed as AI-enabled. This strategy may align with Apple’s intentions for a substantial AI focus at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. This update follows Gurman’s earlier reports indicating that Apple is in talks with OpenAI and Google to integrate advanced AI technologies into iOS 18.
Additionally, the “Let Loose” event is expected to unveil updates for the iPad Air and accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, with the potential introduction of haptic feedback in the upcoming Apple Pencil.
