At the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung unveiled its latest TV lineup, headlined by a suite of artificial intelligence features collectively known as "Vision AI." These enhancements are designed to make TVs smarter and more adaptive to user preferences.
Key features of Vision AI include:
- Click to Search: This allows users to look up information about on-screen content, such as identifying actors or getting details about the displayed scene.
- Live Translate: Using on-device AI models, it offers real-time subtitle translations for a more accessible viewing experience.
- Generative Wallpaper: Users can create personalized dynamic wallpapers that display when the TV is not in use.
In collaboration with Microsoft, Samsung has also integrated a wide range of Copilot AI services into its smart TVs and monitors, delivering personalized content recommendations. Additionally, Samsung is working with Google to expand Vision AI's capabilities and introduce a new 3D audio technology called Eclipsa Audio. Eclipsa Audio enables creators to adjust sound parameters like location, intensity, and spatial reflections, providing an immersive three-dimensional sound experience. Soon, users will be able to watch YouTube videos with Eclipsa Audio tracks on compatible Samsung devices.
Through these innovations, Samsung aims to transform its TVs from mere entertainment devices into more interactive and personalized hubs within the home.
