Tesla's Optimus Humanoid Robot Unveiled Again: Production Costs Plummet to $20,000–$30,000

During Tesla's "WE, ROBOT" launch event today, the company unveiled its latest autonomous taxi and showcased the highly anticipated Optimus humanoid robot. CEO Elon Musk announced that the production cost of the Optimus is expected to fall between $20,000 and $30,000.

Reports indicate that Tesla has already produced hundreds of Optimus robots, although they remain in the testing phase and are not yet ready for mainstream production. In June, it was trialed at the Tesla factory, where it used vision neural networks and Full Self-Driving (FSD) chips to mimic human operations while participating in battery sorting training.
