Google has recently introduced its Gemini AI chatbot to assist users with their Gmail inbox on the web, and this feature is now being expanded to mobile devices. The Gmail Q&A feature is rolling out on Android, with plans to launch soon on iOS.
With Gmail Q&A, users can ask Gemini to retrieve specific details from their emails, display unread messages, filter emails by sender, or summarize information on particular topics within their inbox. This tool, showcased at Google's I/O conference earlier this year, aims to enhance email management and help users efficiently locate important information.
However, it's important to note that access to Gmail Q&A is limited to users with a subscription to Google One AI Premium or those on a Google Workspace plan that includes the Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Education Premium add-ons. As with many generative AI tools, users should verify the information provided by Gemini to ensure accuracy.
Gmail Q&A is currently rolling out, and it may take up to 15 days for the feature to become available to all users.
