The Black Eyed Peas will introduce a novel member, Vida, powered by AI, during their upcoming Las Vegas residency in 2025. Vida, an artificial intelligence entity, will not be a hologram but a fully integrated presence in the band's performances at Planet Hollywood. Will.i.am shared that Vida will engage with the audience constantly, bridging communication among band members, stage crew, and attendees who wish to interact with her. Vida will sing alongside other band members, even featuring in duets.

This venture into AI is not unfamiliar territory for Will.i.am, who earlier in August introduced RAiDiO.FYI, an AI-driven interactive media platform. This app-based platform offers radio shows where listeners can personalize content, explore new music, select topics, pose inquiries, and engage in conversations with AI radio personalities. Will.i.am's involvement in AI extends to funding an AI-influenced music application launched in April, capable of composing songs from written text. The app, called Udio, comprehends various music genres, styles, and languages, and generates vocals accordingly.
